Overview

The official digital hub for the Osun State Branch of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors. The platform centralises professional resources, membership data, association news, and educational content for practising surveyors across the state.

The problem

The NIS Osun Branch had over 400 registered members but no central digital home. Critical information. CPD opportunities, association announcements, dues payment schedules, and regulatory updates, was shared via WhatsApp groups and physical notice boards, causing missed communications and member disengagement. The branch needed a single authoritative platform that would centralise all professional communications and make the association look credible to external stakeholders, government bodies, and new member prospects.

What we did

We designed a clean, institutional web portal that serves as the single source of truth for all branch activity. A news and announcements section pulls real-time updates from the association's Facebook page via API, ensuring content stays current without requiring manual website updates from the secretariat. A Google Forms integration handles membership registration with automatic email confirmation. The design language is formal and professional, reflecting the institutional authority of a chartered professional body. Clear CPD and resources sections serve the practical needs of practising surveyors.

Complete project delivery, requirements gathering with the branch executive, architecture planning, front-end and backend development, Facebook API integration, Google Forms setup and styling, member directory structure, SSL deployment, and handover training for the secretariat team.
